What inspired you to become a college life coach?
My entire professional life has been dedicated to working with students transitioning from high school to college;  from serving as a University Ambassador during my time as an undergraduate student at FSU to becoming an Admissions Counselor after graduation. I knew I wanted to continue to be a resource for students during one of their most formative years, and this job was the perfect way to do that.

What advice would you give to a student just starting out at FSU?
Say yes to every opportunity that you possibly can! This is the time to pursue new hobbies, test out career options, make connections, and start figuring out who you are as an adult. You only get approximately four years, so make sure you are filling them with as many experiences as possible.

What is your favorite outdoor spot in or around Tallahassee?
I absolutely love Maclay Gardens! It’s a beautiful lakefront property with extensive gardens and trails to explore. When the weather is nice you can’t beat an afternoon at Maclay

Student testimonial:
“The most valuable part of College Life Coaching was having someone to talk me through things I’m struggling with and how to navigate them. Devin didn’t help me, she taught me and showed me how I could help myself, which I truly appreciated”
