What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
After a long day at work, you’ll typically find me at local fitness studio, Drip Drop Fitness, then cuddling with my cats and hanging out with my husband!
What’s a fun or surprising fact about you that students might not guess?
I have a BA in Music with a concentration in Voice! I like to say that I’m retired from singing at this point, but I love attending local concerts, especially the Tallahassee Community Chorus!
What’s a question you love asking students—and why?
My favorite reflection question that I ask students is “are you proud of yourself?” because it gives you the chance to think back on what you’ve accomplished. I will typically ask you this at the end of the year so be prepared!
Student comment excerpt: “After sitting through countless meetings and talking through my struggles regarding my connection to campus and beyond, I have nothing but extreme gratitude for the program. Going to bi-weekly meetings has single handedly been one of my favorite parts of being on campus and I can’t imagine my time here as a freshman to be any different.”
Education:B.A. in Music from Westminster Choir College of Rider University, M.S. in Hospitality Entrepreneurship from Florida State University
